Share 2 and Critique #2

For this week, I tried to take some photos of the beautiful trees around the Rocky Campus with my rented camera and my IPhone. However, the ones took on the camera came back as black images. With some research I found that the shutter may be the problem, but until I can have it fixed, here are some of the unedited pictures I took on my IPhone. The first has the rules of light over dark, with many diagonal lines. The second one has the same rules. On the second photo I need to increase the contrast and darken the trunk of the tree so that the leaves have more attention drawn towards them. I'm not quite sure what to do with the first, or if it's even usable.
