For this blog, I chose the Finnish photographer Mikko Lagerstedt. He takes his photos during the night and captures some amazing, almost out of this world photos. Specifically, I have chosen to focus on his edge portfolio and some of his recent works. I absolutely love the starry skies he captures. I find it interesting how they are pictures taken at night, but all the essential parts are “bright” so to speak, creating a beautiful, striking contrast. Many of the scenes he captures seem to leave you absolutely breathless. Some of my personal favorites are Shallow Water, Distant Land, Frozen Echo, and Purple Haze.
