Grant Ordelheide, a Colorado native, has captured some very stunning landscapes. My personal favorites are his images of Mt. Assiniboine Reflection, El Cap Reflection, Crestone Needle, and the Monolithic Sunset. Each of these are reflections off water that are so still, the surface practically looks like a mirror. In fact, in the Mt. Assiniboine photo, it even perfectly reflects the clouds. As previously discussed, the human eye is naturally drawn to the color red. In Crestone Needle, it doubles with the mountain itself, and the stunning reflection, bringing the eye up, down, and up again in an almost continual cycle. Overall a very stunning portfolio.
