 For this portfolio by Polish Photographer Alicja Zmysłowska, I not only loved all the subjects, which happen to be a variety of dogs and foxes, but also the contrast of the subject and the background. Some are black and white, while others are displayed with bright, striking colors. Many of the black and white photos capture a feeling of harshness, which is brought about by the contrast. This is added to on many levels with the positioning, poses, and the very environment in which the pictures are taken. 

In what can be described as a median between the black and white and color, there are some muted color photos that depict a tranquil atmosphere. They also add a tone of seriousness, though not as great as the black and white photos. 

On the other hand, the ones with bright colors and active dogs evoke happiness. These ones are my personal favorites, as the viewer can feel the joy that the dogs are feeling during the shoot.
